The ore base of the aluminous works ACG (Guinea), which is the only one on the African continent, is a complex of bauxites deposits of the modern tropical belt of the bauxite province of Boke, area of Fria. Detailed works have been carried out to study geological features of bauxites and repeated, more detailed estimation of their chemical-mineral structure and technological properties. Geological-technological mapping has been conducted, which made it possible to offer new approaches to the estimation of deposits in the given area in view of their nature, and also to develop ways to modernize the technology of bauxite processing at ACG, which are used in the project of the works expansion.
