On excitation of directed waves in composite materials

Abstract

The influence of various parameters on wave fields excited in composite plates by piezoelectric elements of various shapes has been analyzed. The formulated boundary value problem was first integrated using the Fourier transform, the Green matrix was constructed, and then the solution was calculated using the inverse transformation. It has been shown that only for certain composite materials the use of sector vibrators makes it possible to obtain amplification of the amplitude of the waves in the selected direction.
