Thermophysical peculiarities of growing large barium tungstate single crystals for Raman conversion of laser radiation

538.911Abstract
The method of growing large barium tungstate single crystals by modified Czochralski technique is presented. The growth conditions of this method are studied. The possibility and the way of achieving optimal growing system's parameters which provide stable growth of high optical quality crystals and rapid (up to 150 °С/hour) cooling to room temperature and, therefore, reduce the full time of growing process are shown.
