Abstract

The universal method for the determination of the orbits of small bodies in the Solar system has been developed. In this method the orbital planes of motion are enumerated. We propose the technique of estimating the probability of collision of celestial bodies with the Earth. In this technique a coordinate system associated with a nominal osculating orbit are used. Comparison of the results with sites JPL and NEODyS shows a satisfactory agreement.
