Presented are the results of development of an astronomical space complex, whose objective is to promptly detect and determine the motion parameters of heavenly bodies dangerous to the Earth. The complex scans the celestial sphere within 1.2 to 4.2 days and detects the heavenly bodies with the size of 50 to 100 meters or more that approach the Earth with a limiting velocity. Shown is the possibility of using the complex to solve the problem of asteroid and comet hazard, the scientific problems, and monitor man-made space objects in the region of geostationary orbits.
