Abstract

A method of mean motion variations was applied to detect potential collisions with the Earth of single-apparition asteroids, whose orbits are close to intersection with the Earth orbit. With new set of varied elements, the asteroid was propagated to 100 years into the future. A step of the mean motion variation was divided to find most close approaches. As a result, several probable impact asteroids were found.
