"First of all I would like to express my appreciation to the organizers of the conference for the opportunity to participate in it. I also admire the great organization of the conference, carried out by Sochi State University. The Kuban State University was represented by 20 postgraduate students from different countries such as Russia, China, Nigeria, Syria, Turkey and Mali. The participation in the conference was very useful for us. The topic of the conference is of vital importance because we live in an earthquake prone region. The topic of my dissertation is connected with Sochi, and the issues touched upon by the participants of the conference gave me a new push for the development of my research project. I strongly believe that such scientific events should be held on the regular basis. If we want to avoid unforeseen disasters, seismic hazards shouldn’t be ignored."

"I would like to thank the leadership of Sochi State University for the opportunity to participate in the conference. Due to the conference I made new friendships and new scientific contacts with students of Kuban State University and Southern Federal University. I also got a lot of useful information for my scientific and practical work. I am a citizen of Armenia. It is an earthquake prone region. We remember the tragedies occurred in our country because of the earthquakes and we do not want them to be repeated. I also would like to contribute to the prevention of seismic hazards in my native country Armenia and in Russia."
