Kinetics of the donor-acceptor electronic excitation energy transfer due to the cooperative interaction of impurity centers

The processes of cooperative interactions in the condensed media are investigated. The probability of an elementary act of cooperative interaction of centers is calculated for two cases: (1) cooperative quenching of a donor by a pair of acceptors and (2) cooperative up-conversion (i.e. in case of the electronic energy excitation transfer from donors to the high energy levels of acceptors). The kinetics of degradation of donor excitations for these cases is obtained.
