S-parameters certification methods for microwave networks analyzers

621.317.757Abstract
S-parameters certification methods of input measurement ports for microwave networks analyzers are considered. In order to increase measurement accuracy of the reflection coefficients of tested devices, S-parameters of networks analyzers are proposed to determine on the base of two series of measurements of short-circuit, open-circuit and matched etalon loads, connected to measurement port under certification once directly and another time through the transmission line with calibrated length.
