The semiconducting thermoelectric refrigerator on the basis of metal-dielectric-semiconductor-metal structure is developed. The given refrigerator is based on the thermoelectric capacitor representing metal-dielectric-semiconductor-metal system which cools when charging and heats up in the course of discharging. The heat up is less intensified than cooling because charging and discharging occur via different contacts with different Peltier factor. As a result the capacitor is cooled during the charge-and-discharge cycle.
