A method has been developed for calculating the effective thermal conductivity tensor of a multicomponent matrix composite with inclusions of various shapes and orientations, taking into account the contact thermal resistance at the boundary between inclusions and the matrix. To take into account the contact thermal resistance, a model of a matrix composite with inclusions with a shell is used, the thickness and thermal conductivity of which are consistent with the value of the contact thermal resistance. The calculations are based on a generalized effective-field approximation. The method is used for a composite with a polymer matrix of ED-20 and inclusions of three types. The first two types of inclusions are parallel to a fixed plane and mutually perpendicular cylindrical fibers of E-glass, the third type is antifriction spherical inclusions of polytetrafluoroethylene. Calculated ratios were derived, with the help of which model calculations were carried out. Dependences of the principal components of the tensor of effective thermal conductivity on the value of contact thermal resistance, as well as on the volume fraction of glass fibers, were obtained. The values of contact thermal resistance are determined, at which the effective thermal conductivity of the composite does not depend on the volume fractions of fibers of E-glass or polytetrafluoroethylene inclusions. Moreover, if the contact thermal resistance is lower than these values, an increase in the volume fraction of polytetrafluoroethylene or fibers of E-glass leads to an increase in the effective thermal conductivity of the composite, and if higher, then to a decrease in the thermal conductivity component perpendicular to the fibers.
