On the modeling of transfer of plumes substances in plane-parallel moving medium

The work considers the problem of assessing the action of the substances in convective movement, known as plumes, from the upper mantle on the lower base of the lithosphere plate. To model the Earth's layers including the asthenosphere, the upper mantle and subsequent layers down to the Gutenberg core boundary, the model of multi-layered deformable medium is taken. The problem investigated is aimed to define the character of the plume substances distribution on multi-type lower base of the Earth's crust taking into account different parameters of the upper mantle medium and velocities of motion.
