Modeling of contact interaction of an elastic cylinder with inner surface of a piecewise-inhomogeneous elastic cylindrical layer

539.3Abstract
The contact problem about interaction of an elastic cylinder with the inner surface of piecewise-inhomogeneous elastic cylindrical layer is considered. This problem can serve as a mathematical model of the cylindrical self-lubricating sliding bearing with the so-called protective inserts (binary bearings). Modeling of contact interaction in the two-dimensional and three-dimensional statements, calculation of contact and effective stresses, and size of the contact zone are carried out for various values of geometrical and mechanical parameters of the problem using finite-element complex ANSYS, for which appropriate programs are developed by the command language APDL ANSYS.
