Phase speeds of Lamb waves in multilayered anisotropic composites

Abstract

Dispersive properties of two symmetric composites from carbon-epoxy AS4/3502 considered as multilayered packages of anisotropic layers are numerically investigated. The analysis is reduced to the research of real poles of the Fourier symbol of Green's matrix of the given media for various directions and frequencies. The obtained results are compared with the known theoretical and experimental data.
